Just a little point, Scribs...the National Minimum Wage went up to £6.08 today (1st October, 2011)
Do you think the vicar knows?
Should the applicant refer to Matthew 5:12?
I was assuming the Church still paid in Talents.
The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:12-28)
I've seen no mention of Fr David Eames, Scribbler - the curate....moved on to greater things as the Vicar of the Broughton group - including Scawby.
Lives at the Vicarage at Scawby.
...OR even Luke 3:14...'be content with your wage'.
