A Prayer Labyrinth will be marked out at Brigg Methodist Church, Barnard Avenue, later this week.
“In the hustle and bustle of modern life, do you sometimes feel you don’t have enough quiet time with God?” the organisers ask.
“Come and walk our prayer labyrinth and find the quiet spaces we all need in our spiritual lives.”
Pop in between 2pm and 9pm on Friday, August 19, or between 9am and 4pm on Saturday, August 20.
Visitors can follow the labyrinth at their own pace and come and go as they please.
The event is described as suitable for all ages.
Refreshments, including soup, will be available. No charge, but donations welcome.

Ground/floor labyrinths have been around sine before 3500BC...and pre-historic example are found in a number of continents.
Labyrinths have been adopted by churches and represent the walk of life to God.
Labyrinths are not technically a maze; mazes have dead ends and trickery to confuse the participant - labyrinths are a continuous walk with twists and turns, but if the walker remains on track, will reach the centre.
Julians Bower at Alkborough is often wrongly called a maze. Walk on the ridge and one will eventually get to the middle - but some folks mistakenly walk in the trough, which leads to various dead ends and people pulling their hair out.
Here endeth my sermon...
