There's plenty of Brigg content in the latest issue of the Scunthorpe Telegraph's Nostalgia magazine - now on sale for 75p.
Stephen Hill's latest evocative painting of the town in years gone by - showing the Market Place - is accompanied by an article about life in Brigg circa 1910.
Shaw's Outfitters feature prominently in a two-page feature, and there's an illustrated piece about Brigg Amateurs Football Club.
Plus lots more of interest!

Talking about pictures, there's a new arrival of pictures/prints at Grandad's Shed. Had a sneaky look before Paul/Colin had taken the bubble-wrap off - they show the Market Place. lloking towards the Angel; the old RC Church in Wrawby St and the Prep School.........talking about the latter, what's this rumour that it's to become a special needs school??? No planning permission required for like to like...the other night, there were layers of cars in the the school's car-park..and there appears to be building construction happening behind the main building.
Anyway, if you visit Grandad's Shed, nip upstairs to the Loft...a gem.
