SPORTS PREVIEW: PREVIOUS FA VASE WINNERS BRIGG TOWN HAVE HOME TIE TOMORROW

Brigg Town Football Club - twice winners of the FA Vase - have a home tie coming up in this famous national competition on Saturday (August 27).
The Zebras host Runcorn Town at the EC Surfacing Stadium in the first qualifying round 2022/23.
The tie kicks off at 3pm, and there will be refreshments available on the ground from Pip's Kitchen and the licensed Hawthorns clubhouse.
Cheshire side Runcorn play in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
Brigg won the Vase in 1996 and 2003 -  both finals being played in London.
Brigg Town Development will be away to Barton Town Reserves tomorrow in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier (3pm).
Having shown improved form of late, Brigg Town Cricket Club will be at home to the leaders of Lincolnshire League Division Three West on Saturday.
Brigg host Barton Town 2nds at the Recreation Ground (1pm start).
Without a game tomorrow, second-placed Broughton 2nds will be hoping Brigg can do them a favour by beating Barton or restricting their points haul.
Mid-table Broughton 1sts make the short trip to Messingham for a Division One local derby.
Keen for points to stay clear of the Division Two relegation zone, Hibaldstow 1sts are away to promotion-chasing Market Rasen 2nds.
Sunday will see Hibaldstow 2nds hosting Broughton 3rds in Mick Walker North Lindsey League Division Two (1.30pm start) to decide which of our local sides avoids the wooden spoon.
On Bank Holiday Monday (August 29) Broughton 1sts journey to Lincoln to meet Bracebridge Heath 2nds.
Saturday (August 27) will see another Ancholme Valley Way Parkrun being held in Brigg - starting from the Ancholme Way Bridge at 9am.
The latest, on August 20, saw 102 competitors taking part in the 28th event of this popular series. View the full results here...
