BRIGG TOWN COUNCIL MARKETS ITSELF TO THE PUBLIC

Brigg Town Council set its stall out on market day (Thursday, August 25).
Elected councillors and the Town Clerk were available for face-to-face chats with residents and to answer questions about local topics.
A stall was booked outside the former Barclays bank branch in the Market Place, on the corner of Cary Lane.
The council holds pop-up public consultation sessions from time to time.
Pictured here, from left to right, are: Kerry McGrath (Town Clerk), Coun Sharon Riggall, Coun Brian Parker (Town Mayor), Coun Ann Eardley, Coun Carl Sherwood, Coun Rob Waltham, Coun Jane Gibbons.
People can contact the Town Council at any time by emailing enquiries@briggmarkettown.co.uk
Its office (formerly part of the Angel Suite) is now on the top floor of the Angel building in the Market Place.
Brigg Blog took the opportunity to put a few questions about local issues to councillors present on Thursday's stall.
This was prior to the Town Council presenting its awards for the annual gardening competition in the nearby Bandstand.
Just a reminder that the monthly Brigg Farmers' Market, organised by North Lincolnshire Council, is taking place today (Saturday) in the town centre. View details here, together with the live music programme and other local events for the bank holiday weekend...
