LEADING LIGHTS GIVE AN UPDATE ON BRIGG L.E.D LIGHTS

Various items of good news for Brigg were given by North Lincolnshire Council's Brigg & Wolds Ward representatives to the Town Council's February meeting.
The report on behalf of Coun Rob Waltham, Coun Carl Sherwood and Coun Nigel Sherwood revealed good progress being made on replacing traditional street lights in Brigg and district with low energy LED lamps, more than 200 having already being attended to within the town alone.
Work has also started on creating flats at the former children's home in Brigg, with government money assisting.
The home was declared surplus to requirements by North Lincolnshire Council social services some years ago.

Coun Nigel Sherwood - pictured below - presented this month's update on behalf of his colleagues.
