The Tourist Information Centre is on the ground floor of this listed structure in the Market Place, which is owned and operated by North Lincolnshire Council.
A new bit of kit has been installed to display the many small posters advertising forthcoming events which are submitted by groups in Brigg and district.
The posters used to be pinned up in the side window but are now on a revolving display (right-hand side of our picture) which changes frequently.
We don't know the official name for this equipment but carousel is the best description we can suggest.
Details of coach trips and information about booking tickets for railway trips at Scunthorpe steelworks are also being displayed in this fashion (left-hand side of the picture).
Despite new media, mobile phones and email, there's still a place for old-fashioned posters when it comes to publicising events and services.
It's surprising how many people you see viewing posters in the town centre, with the Buttercross the most prominent location.
