LINCOLNSHIRE COURSE NAMED AMONG BEST IN BRITAIN

In view of the number of folk from the Brigg area who like to go racing at the Market Rasen course, we like to keep followers informed about meetings and developments.
The Racehorse Owners' Association, which decides Britain’s top racecourses for racehorse owners, has named Market Rasen  among the elite by awarding the coveted Gold Standard.
Nadia Gollings (pictured), General Manager of Market Rasen Racecourse, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to retain the ROA Gold Standard, now awarded on a competitive basis, for a second year.
"Like our fellow racecourses in The Jockey Club, we place huge importance on our relationship with Britain’s horsemen – racehorse owners, trainers, jockeys and stable staff."
Charlie Liverton, Chief Executive of the ROA, said: "Our awards set the Gold Standard that all racecourses can aspire to and celebrate those which go the extra mile for owners."

SMALL RACECOURSES AWARDED THE GOLD STANDARD
Fakenham; Hamilton Park; Market Rasen; Musselburgh; Newton Abbot; Nottingham.
