This afternoon we were not the only interested passer-by taking a look through the front windows of the newly-refurbished JD Wetherspoon pub in Brigg town centre.
The revamped White Horse has a banner outside advertising the opening date - January 27.
Today it looked as though they were having a rehearsal for the big day. Many staff were inside - all in uniform. The place looks really impressive.
We took some photos of the frontage, with its new signs, and the beer garden and rear entrance. Brigg Blog will be posting them in the near future, together with a picture of the old pump adjoining the side of the pub, on Grammar School Road South. More about that later.
We'll be heading into town, on foot, tonight and will be having another peek inside. We won't be the only ones to do so.

Invited guests have already been invited to an evening, pre-official opening function next Saturday, 24th.
The invitation says it is a training opportunity for the staff..
If you happen to pass the White Horse about 7.30pm next Saturday, Nige, I hand you a few chips thro' the window.!!!!
