BRIGG WW1 FESTIVAL OF REMEMBRANCE CONCERT

Have you got your tickets for the WW1 Centenary Brigg Festival of Remembrance Concert on Saturday, November 8th? It will be held in the Angel Suite, starting at 7.30pm. All proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The concert will feature songs and music from the early 20th century, performed by the St John’s Singers and the WI Singstitute. The clarinet solo will be delivered by Oliver Charles Lee.
There will be extracts from the WW1 Brigg Research Project and a roll call of The Fallen from the 1914-18 conflict by pupils from Sir John Nelthorpe School.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50p for children.
They are available from the Brigg Town Council office in the Angel complex, call 01652 659402 or email enquiries@briggmarkettown.co.uk
The Town Council has underwritten the costs of the concert.
At the recent Brigg Town Council meeting it was reported that half the tickets had already been taken up. So don’t leave it too later to apply.
