STATUS QUO IN BRIGG - TUNE IN FOR AN UPDATE

This picture was taken from the A18, near the boundary between Brigg and Wrawby.
Some of the houses in the Western Avenue area are classed as being  inside the village and do note vote in Brigg or pay their parish precept to the Town Council.
Questions are being asked about whether some/all/the majority of these householders may want to switch to Brigg or whether they are happy with the status quo.
This will be a major talking point in 2015, together with the similar situation that exists on the Water’s Edge estate across town.
This is currently part of Broughton, although only a stone’s throw from Brigg’s western boundary – the New River Ancholme.
Protracted procedures involving various local authorities and boundaries - parish, unitary  and even Parliamentary - may be required to bring about any change at Water's Edge.
