Weekly pram service for toddlers with their mums, dads and
carers started on Wednesday, November 5, from 2pm to 3pm. Time to chat over refreshments.

Takes me back to my informative years when 2 x sets of pram wheels, a plank, a steerable cross timber, a nut and bolt, a handful of nails and short bit of rope kept us kids occupied for months....!! Scuffed knees, elbows and the frequent bruising were all part of the fun...
.....by November, the cart was the useful transport for our Penny for the Guy collection..... We use to sit with the Guy like homeless waifs and a Penny For the Guy sign brought in pennies for our sweetie money.
Even in those days, we youngster were retail savvy - it was no good pitching the Guy outside such places like the cobblers, pubs, greengrocers.....sites like Woollies. or chippies were economically better propositions...We didn't employ any scientific reasoning, just instinctive guesswork....and the volume of sweets subsequently purchased.
