GREAT NEW YEAR WIN FOR BRIGG TOWN FC

A second-half goal from Scott Matthews earned Brigg Town a 1-0 home win over Parkgate today (Saturday, January 9).
This win moves Brigg out of the bottom three in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division.
It was a real six-pointer against one of the teams below the Zebras in the standings.
The crowd at The Hawthorns numbered 109.
On Saturday, January 16, Brigg journey to Pontefract Collieries, who hold down 17th spot, the Zebras currently being  ranked 19th.
