GENEROUS BRIGG FIRM SUPPORTS JERRY GREEN DOG CENTRE

Dogs at the Jerry Green Dog Centre in Broughton are barking happy after a generous donation from the kind-hearted team at Thomas Bell Country Store in Brigg.
The centre currently has more than 60 dogs in its care and relies on donations from individuals and businesses to allow them to keep up the excellent work they carry out.
Well known for stocking a wide range of pet food, treats and accessories, staff at Thomas Bell Country Store donated a pallet of their popular own brand beef and vegetable dog food to help feed the many mouths at the centre.
Fundraising manager Jill Shaw said: “Without the ongoing support and generosity of companies and individual dog-lovers it would be impossible to continue to take in so many dogs, look after them and re-home them.
“Everyone involved really appreciates the care and kindness shown through the many donations we receive and the pallet of food from Thomas Bell Country Store will help to feed a lot of our dogs.”
Graeme King, of Thomas Bell Country Store, said: “We always look to support pet and equine charities in the region and the team at Jerry Green Dog Centre help to rescue and re-home hundreds of dogs each year.
“I am sure the pallet of dog food will be put to very good use and we are looking to work with the charity on an ongoing basis in the future.”
