A proud moment for Brigg as the town's refurbished War memorial - The Monument - receives a CPRE certificate as the best-kept in North Lincolnshire, in the annual competition. Brigg Town Council was instrumental in getting the stonework cleaned and the lettering of "The Fallen" redone, while the flowerbeds tended by North Lincolnshire Council have been admired by many. Our picture - kindly forwarded by North Lincolnshire Council's Halyna Deboer - shows the certificate being received, with Town Mayor Coun John Kitwood on the left.
IT MAKES YOU PROUD TO BE BRIGGISH!
