APPLYING THE FINISHING TOUCHES

Completing the final phase in renovating the Monument war memorial is one of the topics listed for discussion at Brigg Town Council’s Property and Services Committee meeting on Wednesday (March 9) in the Angel Suite (7pm).
This is open to the public, but if you wish to attend please note it’s being held in the downstairs Lounge, not the main function room.
Entry to the building at this time of day is via the Rotunda (conservatory-like building) at the back of the premises and not through the main glass doors fronting onto the Market Place.
Other items of interest on the agenda include the annual Brigg in Bloom flower scheme to brighten up the town and Cary Lane’s public conveniences.
Also expect reports on Angel Suite bookings and the Grammar School Road and Redcombe Lane allotments.
Brigg Town Council’s scheduled meeting of the Planning and Environment Committee on Wednesday night has been cancelled due to lack of urgent business to consider.
