North Lincolnshire Council continues to undertake routine food hygiene inspections of premises across its district, with one in Brigg and others in Barnetby and Scawby recently being visited and rated.
We are pleased to report that Pips Kitchen at Brigg Town Football Club's Hawthorns clubhouse gained the highest possible grading - "Five Stars - Very Good" - as did the Rathside Residential Care Home, on Gainsborough Lane, Scawby; and St Barnabas CE Primary School, St Barnabas Road, Barnetby.
Pips Kitchen at the EC Surfacing Ltd Stadium is a relatively new eatery - offering breakfasts, other meals and snacks at various times, including match days, at reasonable prices.
'Scores on the doors' food hygiene ratings for two other Brigg outlets are expected to be announced in the near future.
