DROP IN AT BRIGG SURGERIES AND MEET OUR LOCAL POLICE

Brigg people, and those from surrounding communities who visit our town, are being given many opportunities to meet local police and discuss issues they may have or raise questions about crime prevention and other topics.
PC Jane Proud, of the Brigg and Wolds Neighbourhood Policing Team, has given us a list of forthcoming surgeries to be held in Brigg between late August and the end of the year.
Some weeks ago we reported that Jane had been in touch with Brigg Town Council about using its Angel Suite Lounge for a number of these sessions - something the local authority was happy to support.
So when we spotted Jane out on patrol at Monday's Brigg Horse Fair 2019, with colleague Sgt Tim Rion, we offered Brigg Blog's assistance to publicise these surgeries.
As we were discussing this and other topics and Jane was making a point, Ken Harrison, of Brigg Matters magazine, took the above picture he later shared with Brigg Blog.
There's an open invitation to drop in at any of the sessions listed below.
Thursday, 29th August: The Angel, Market Place, Brigg, 10am-noon.
Saturday, 7th September: Brigg Police Station, Barnard Avenue, 2pm-4pm
