An enjoyable annual event is coming up in Brigg with an open invitation to attend on the day.
We suggest making a note of the date and paying a visit.
Brigg Town Mayor Coun Sharon Riggall will be hosting a coffee morning in the Angel Suite (former Ballroom) on Saturday, September 14, from 10am to noon.
There will be a tombola, books and plants, refreshments and a raffle.
During the coffee morning, Brigg Town Council will announce the winners of its 2019 best garden and allotment competition.
There will be awards for the best front garden, best hanging basket, best business/garden display, best allotment, and best school garden.
This competition is supported by Brigg Garden Centre, and that's been the case for many years.
