CHRISTMAS 2018 EVENTS IN BRIGG ALREADY LINED UP

Plans are already being made in Brigg for Christmas 2018.
Brigg Town Business Partnership has given advance notice of some festive events.
The Brigg Tree of Light 2018 will be launched on Saturday, 17th November, in Chapel Court, with an informal service at 3pm.
This will conclude on Saturday, 5th January, 2019 with another informal service and  reading the names of departed people from the Book of Remembrance.
The Brigg Festival of Christmas Trees and Wreaths will open on Thursday, 13th December between 10am and 6.00pm and continue on Friday, 14th December from 10.00am-3.00pm, Saturday 15th from 9.00am-3.00pm, and Sunday 16th from 11.00am-1.00pm.

It now seems possible that the Brigg Town Business Partnership will become more involved in running the town's top-attended social event - the  Christmas lights switch-on.
Talks are expected to take place with Brigg Town Council, which has organised things for many years.
Traders, of course, benefit greatly from an evening when so many people throng the town centre.
Brigg District Lions organise the accompanying Christmas Fair.
