FUN WEEKEND FOR BRIGG PUBS

It proved to be a busy night for a number of Brigg pubs last night (Saturday, July 21).
There were big birthday celebrations, accompanied by a group playing live, at the Lord Nelson, and musical entertainment across the Market Place at the Woolpack.
Meanwhile, down at the Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street, some people who'd been to the Market Rasen race meeting helped swell the attendance.
Karaoke in the bar proved popular and there was a fun atmosphere, as demonstrated by the picture above.
Just a reminder that today (Sunday, July 22) mine host at the Dying Gladiator, Eugene Irwin, celebrates five years in charge of the Bigby Street hostelry.
Local band The Dirty Pitchers will be performing Britpop songs in the beer garden, with a barbeque to follow and further music.
