Brigg Blog has reflected many times on a sad decline in the number of senior league football teams playing at weekends.
So it's heartening to hear that a club in our district has re-entered the local Sunday League.
Following a two-year gap, Barnetby's Sunday side has been revived for the 2018/2019 season.
It will be operating in division three of the Paul Fox Scunthorpe and District League.
Tony Gowing and Joel Jackson will be running the Barnetby team.
Home games will kick off at 10.30am.
