RAISE A GLASS IN SUPPORT OF RAIL ALE OUTING FROM BRIGG

Many real ale fans from the Brigg area are expected to attend the 8th Gainsborough Beer Festival.
Leave the car at home and take a Saturday train along the Brigg line.
The festival will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 13, 14 and 15.
The location is historic Gainsborough Old Hall, on Parnell Street, DN21 2NB.
There will be 60 drinks - beers, ciders, perries and wines, plus food and entertainment.
Saturday opening hours are noon to 10.30pm, with free entry.
Catch the 11.47am train from Brigg station, arriving at Gainsborough Central at 12.11pm.
The return train leaves at 5.01pm, getting you back to Brigg at 5.24pm.
Our thanks go to the Gainsborough CAMRA (real ale group) and Paul Johnson (rail campaigner) for providing the details.
