Brigg Matters photographer Ken Harrison and 'yours truly' attended the Brigg Town Mayor's coffee morning on Saturday in the Angel Suite and both bought a few raffle tickets to help the Appeal Fund.
We were an early winner, collecting a bottle of wine, and then drew out a winning ticket for Ken!
"Thanks,
Nige," says our friend and colleague, who took the above picture. "I chose one of those new fangled
weather clocks.....it's brilliant....if its raining, it allows me to stay in bed
until lunch-time!"
Ken also offers a quiz question and hints: "You've already had a good clue."
Question: Which month is the
longest month?
Answer: The month of October -
it has 31 days days and because of the clocks going back, it has an extra hour =
31 DAYS + 1 HOUR.
"That doesn't mean March is the shortest month as it loses an
hour - February remains the shortest," Ken adds.
