BRIGG ALLOTMENTS REVIEWED

Brigg Town Council operates allotments at two sites in the town, and staff and councillors make periodic visits to see that all's well.
They make  reports to the Brigg Town Council Property & Services Committee.
The committee's latest meeting heard that the Redcombe Lane/Atherton Way allotments "look smart" while a few of the plots on Grammar School Rod are "a bit tatty" with evidence of weeds.
It was pointed out that weeds can spread to adjoining plots.
The Town Council employs a  "gentle letter" approach in such cases.
If you missed our post some days ago, the Town Council has a half-plot vacant for less than £20 a year in rent. Pledge your interest by emailing enquiries@briggmarkettown.co.uk
