BRIGG SPRING TRIATHLON AFFECTS LEISURE CENTRE PARKING

There will be no public access to Ancholme Leisure Centre car park in Scawby Brook on Sunday, September  21, between 6am and 3pm, due to the Brigg Sprint Triathlon, North Lincolnshire Council says.
There will still be pedestrian access to the centre and people will be able to use the facilities, except for the swimming pool, which will be closed for the event until  noon.
There are 275 entries so there will be in excess of 1,000 visitors to the site on the day. In addition, there will be people on the side of the road watching the event.
If you wish to use the centre or watch the event, you are advised to walk into Brigg (if you live in Brigg) or use one of the other car parks in the town centre.
