CHANCE TO ENJOY A FREE NIGHT OUT IN BRIGG
There's an opportunity to enjoy a free night in Brigg tonight (Tuesday, May 1) starting at 8pm
No admission charge applies to attend an illustrated talk arranged by Brigg Amateur Social Historians (BASH) at the Servicemen's Club between Coney Court and the town's main car park.
Lincolnshire Superstitions is the subject and Rob Fanthorpe will be the presenter.
His talk will include Friday the 13th and the origins of the historic Haxey Hood game, played every January on the western border of Lincolnshire, in the rural Isle of Axholme.
There's no need to book tickets - just turn up on the night.
A raffle will be held to help towards costs tonight and light refreshments will be served.
The Servicemen's Club has a licensed bar in operation for those wishing to purchase drinks.
