BRIGG NURSERY & PLAYGROUND EXTENSIONS GIVEN THE GO-AHEAD
North Lincolnshire Council has approved a nursery school extension in Brigg.
Planning permission has been granted to erect the extension and carry out alterations to provide additional accommodation for the Munchkins Nursery.
The location is Demeter House School, Bigby Street.
North Lincolnshire Council planners approved an application from Demeter House Ltd, which indicated the creation of four additional jobs.
A North Lincolnshire Council report about this application said approval was being sought to erect a small single storey rear extension to the existing school to provide additional nursery facilities - two new play rooms and an office.
"The extension will not be seen from any public views and is subordinate to the main school building," the report said.
"The scale and design is in keeping with the character of the existing building, which is a mix of both old and new."
No adverse comments were received and Brigg Town Council told planners it supported the proposal.

Planning permission has also been granted to extend the playground, incorporating a French drain, at St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Grammar School Road, Brigg. That application was made by North Lincolnshire Council Maintenance Services.
