BRIGG FOLIAGE AND ROAD SAFETY

The foot-of-the-tree foliage on Bigby Road in Brigg is again beginning to obscure the view of drivers looking to join the A1084. North Lincolnshire Council trimmed it back a few weeks ago. But this being the height of the growing season, it's time for another trim. We recommend the usual short back and sides!

Apart from the growth of the ground side-shoots, perhaps the upper branches of the trees need looking at.
Many of them are now hanging over the road......and only the other day, an 18 inch piece of branch fell down and hit my car just above and behind the the windscreen with a resounding CLUNK!
No damage - driving slowing in a line of traffic - but on another occasion.....

Thanks to John Revty for the helpful and well-meaning suggestion but Brigg Blog isn't planning to go down the Facebook route. We are happy as we are and pleased with the number of visitors we attract.
