RIGHT GOOD BASH ENJOYED IN BRIGG
Picture and report from Graham Austin
Tuesday night’s meeting of Brigg Amateur Social Historians (BASH) was an illustrated talk presented by Josie Webb, assisted by Pat Parkinson.
It was entitled "A Walk Down memory Lane" showing old photographs and postcards of Brigg from early to the middle of the 20th century.
For many new to the area it was a glimpse at Brigg's history, but for some it triggered memories of times gone by.
There will be no January meeting of BASH but the next talk will be another illustrated one.
“Anne Frank - A voice from the Holocaust” will be again presented by Josie Webb. It will be held in the Brigg and District Servicemens’ Club on Tuesday 7th Feb 2012 and all are welcome.
PICTURED AT TUESDAY’S EVENT: Dick Neall, Josie Webb (chairman), Ken Harrison, Pat Parkinson (secretary).

That Ken Harrison looks blinking ancient!
In the original picture there was a circular wall lamp above his head - it looked like a halo.
It looks like Graham has touched-up the picture and made the old guy mortal again!
