LOCKS DOWN - THANKS TO BRIGG SMALL BUSINESSES

Brigg people of all ages were very keen to get a haircut after 100+ days' lockdown when salons and barbers were ordered to cease business because of the Coronavirus emergency.
The restriction placed on the stylists ended yesterday (Saturday, July 4) and folk wasted no time in getting their flowing and unkempt 'Barnets' attended to by expert hands. There were plenty of fallen locks!
Queues formed at times in the morning and afternoon outside the gentlemen's barbers in the Market Place and on Bigby Street (pictured here).
Perhaps all, or most, of the ladies' salons were 'by appointment only' as we didn't spot any customers waiting on the pavement.
