A new takeaway opened in Brigg town centre last night (Saturday, July 18).
Brigg Tandoori is located where the Market Place meets Bigby Street and Elwes Street.
It occupies premises which, for some 20 years, hosted Le Raj restaurant/takeaway until its recent closure.
The new venture specialises in dishes from southern India. The phone number is 01652 656595. It also has a new Brigg Tandoori page on Facebook.
Among items on the extensive Indian-style menu that caught our eye are Chef Special Biryani and Murgh Palak. Also on offer are doner kebabs, Chinese dishes and kids' meals.
Brigg Tandoori is opening every day from 5pm to 11pm - except Tuesdays when it will be closed.
It is not currently offering a sit-down restaurant service. We'll keep Brigg Blog followers posted about this.
