A great night was had at the Whistle and Flute pub as Barnetby United Football Club senior players and juniors celebrated their end-of-season awards.
The juniors were up first and made a presentation of their own to their coach, Lee Fielden, before receiving their mementos
The seniors followed with awards for the Saturday first team and reserves (Scunthorpe & District League).
Sadly, Fred Brumpton was unable to attend and present the trophies as planned due to ill-health but Graham Day, the club's all-time leading goalscorer, was a more than able substitute.
Brigg Blog's thanks are extended to Lee Fielden - a clubmate of ours at Brigg Town Football Club some years ago - who supplied the report and pictures.
Mine host at the Whistle and Flute pub, Julie Frankish is well-known in Brigg, having previously worked at the Black Bull, on Wrawby Street.
