BRIGG AREA TEAMS COUNTING DOWN TO START OF NEXT FOOTBALL SEASON

Briggensians and Barnetby Reserves will be facing at least one new team next season in the third division of the TSW Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League.
The relegation of Limestone Rangers Reserves, who finished bottom of division two, has now been confirmed by the league.
Barnetby Reserves and Briggensians (based at Sir John Nelthorpe School, Brigg) finished the 2016/17 season in fourth and fifth places respectively.
All teams played 16 league games.
It remains to be seen whether any new teams apply to join the competition for next season and also whether there are any resignations.
