BRIGG BLOOD DONORS ALWAYS NEEDED BUT IT HELPS IF YOU HAVE A CAR

Brigg is still without its own blood donor sessions.
We've raised this point before and were prompted to return to it by seeing details of a forthcoming session elsewhere.
On the horizon are sessions at two locations in Broughton, two different venues in Scunthorpe, one in Caistor, another in Winterton and one in Barton.
These are located between three and nine miles from Brigg.
The Blood Donor service is a vital one which saves lives.
If you want to start giving blood or resume doing so after taking a break, call 0300 123 23 23.
You will have to travel from Brigg to do so, of course. But please make the effort if at all possible.
Brigg Blog holds the view that the closer something like this is located to someone's home, the more likely they are to pay a visit.
Suitable venues might include Ancholme Leisure Centre (just over the border in Scawby Brook) and  the Angel Suite, subject to availability.
We seem to recall giving a pint many years ago in what's now the Vale Academy's Westmoor Hall.
View forthcoming sessions where you can give blood.
Brigg Blood donors without their own cars can get the No 4 Hornsby bus to Broughton. The Call Connect service might also be called upon for transport to local sessions, subject to availability.
