FOOD FOR THOUGHT DURING A NIGHT OUT IN BRIGG

We've still to break our duck in terms of using one of the cabanas at Dexters in Brigg town centre.
Another attempt was made last night but all the summer houses in the beer garden were taken.
One was being used for a birthday party.
Is it wise to book in advance if you want use of a cabana? We asked a couple of people without confirming the procedure.
Dexters has proved very popular since it opened at what was the Black Bull and last night there were many diners and drinkers. Plus people who were happily combining both.
A decent pint of Doom Bar real ale is on tap, too.
Wetherspoon's White Horse was as busy as ever on a Friday night, with demand for meals outstripping seats available inside at one point, we gather.
Across the road at the Britannia we got to chat to the chef.
Sorry, no meal advice to share - we'd eaten earlier before venturing out into town.
