Sometimes you get a pleasant surprise by discovering something good in the Brigg area you knew nothing about.
Such is the case with Hall Farm Park - just 10 miles away on Caistor Road, South Kelsey, LN7 6PR.
Youngsters can meet a range of farm animals, take part in indoor and outdoor activities, and there's a nice cafe offering good food as reasonable prices.
We spotted a plaque recording the opening in 2006 by a TV weatherman. Yet Brigg Blog knew nothing about this impressive family fun facility in the country until, quite recently, we chanced upon a planning application submitted to West Lindsey District Council.
We made a note to take a look when the opportunity presented itself.
Sadly, our visit was marred slightly by a Lincolnshire County Council road closure in South Kelsey which added length and time to our outward and homeway journeys.
Hall Farm Park is open every day expect Wednesday, between 10am and 5pm.
