LITTER BIN ON WAY

A new litter bin is to be sited on Almond Grove, Brigg - paid for by the Town Council. Costing £67.50p (plus VAT) it will be placed at the bottom of the incline, close to the junction with Atherton Way.
Many people park their cars in this area and it is also on a direct route for pedestrians returning to the Newlands estate from the town centre.

Okay ...so who's going to empty it?

While we're on rubbish....there's a skip in Springs Parade.
Last week it was full of old arcade machines...now it full of general shop rubbish.....most of this rubbish has been emptied directly into the skip ...not a bin bag in sight.
Consequently, much it it gets blown about, some ending up in the river.
The lady in the RSPCA shop makes an effort to pick some of it up.
The skip needs netting.
