Further to our earlier posting about Tesco introducing Clubcard scanners at its Brigg store's checkouts, it now seems they have been removed.
Had there been many complaints about the new DIY system?

He is results secretary of the Lincolnshire County Cricket League, chairman of the Broughton Evening League and supplies cricket content for the Scunthorpe Telegraph, the Grimsby Telegraph and the Lincolnshire Echo. Strange one this....being a naturally nosey person, I've asked several Tesco staff for the reason for their removal.
It seems that the staff have been sworn to secrecy...most say that all they know is that there has been a directive from the managment..one said it may be possible that the Tesco card could be swiped several times for the same shopping and some folks were getting multiple points....I wonder if they caught me on cctv?
