SECOND BRIGG 'DEMOLISH & REPLACE' HOME PLAN AWAITING COUNCIL DECISION

Demolishing Brigg residential properties and replacing them with new builds on the same site are not particularly common among the many types of planning applications submitted in the town.
But we currently have two awaiting decisions from North Lincolnshire Council - the local planning authority.
Following an application to replace Bridge Street's Pelham House comes another for a new property on Eastfield Road, off Wrawby Road.
The plan is to demolish No 11 - a bungalow - and erect a replacement dwelling of chalet style with three bedrooms.
The current property is about 60 years old, planners have been told.
Brigg Town Council will be consulted as part of the planning process and will make its views known to the unitary authority before the application is decided.
