NEW 'FAG END' AND EXTRA BRIGG LITTER BINS ON THE WAY

Brigg - in keeping with other market towns - does its best to keep the lid on litter dropped on streets and at other locations.
More litter bins are now to be installed, and when Brigg Town Council holds its June meeting tomorrow (Thursday) councillors will be deciding where best to put the extras.
In addition, and for the first time, bins are to be placed close to some pubs so they are available to customers who have finished smoking their cigarettes.
This is intended to reduce the number of 'fag ends' that might end up littering the pavement.
Tomorrow night's meeting, to be held online, will also receive an update about the new allotments site planned on part of Woodbine Park, near South View Avenue.
