One of the oldest national charities in Brigg held its Christmas Fair and raffle in St John's Church Hall.
The origin of the Macmillan Cancer Support group goes back to 1911 when Douglas Macmillan established the Society for the Prevention and Relief of Cancer.
It's name has changed over the years, although the charity's objectives of offering specialist care and support have remained constant; it was re-named Macmillan Cancer Support in 2006.
The event was well-attended and was one of many fund-raising activities that the team of the Brigg & District Macmillan Cancer Support group sponsor throughout the year.
