'NO PARKING' RESTRICTIONS NEEDED ON MORE BRIGG STREETS SAY CONCERNED LOCALS

Our recent post about North Lincolnshire Council approving additional yellow lines to stop parking on a stretch of Dudley Road, Brigg (near the dentists' surgery) prompted followers of this blog to suggest other locations in the town they feel the powers-at-be should be looking at.
Peter Altoft believes there's a need for yellow lines on the Springbank housing estate - along one side of South View Avenue and on both sides of the Sunningdale Avenue junction.
Pat Taylor says: "They want to look at the road junction at Glebe Road/Grammar School Road, near the children's centre, it's an accident waiting to happen. That definitely needs double yellow lines."
Perhaps someone in authority will take note of their concerns and see whether anything can be done.
Many motorists who are not Springbank estate residents will have driven along Grammar School Road and observed congestion resulting from parking near the children's centre.

....a this juncture of evolution, we now need to be planning for electric cars....for example...how do folks who live in such thoroughfares as Grammar School and Glebe Roads charge their vehicles? The Authority people should now be thinking outside the box of yellow lines.....
