Brigg Marina is seeking the go ahead to erect 10 additional holiday lodges on its site off Mill Lane.
North Lincolnshire Council planners are now considering the application from Brigg Marina Ltd.
The lodges will have timber walls and slate roofs, and 16 car parking spaces are to be provided for visitors who book them.
A statement submitted with the application says: "The proposed development relates to the provision of additional facilities on an existing  tourism site which already features holiday lodges,  a marina and has planning permission for a restaurant/bar and other facilities."
It adds: "The addition of the proposed facilities will help the site to grow as a sustainable tourism location."
It says this has now developed "into a considerable tourism site and it has been established that there is capacity for additional holiday lodges."
Near the lodge development is a marina linked to the Old River Ancholme near Cadney Road.
It currently has 26 fully-serviced berths but once fully completed will be able to cater for between 54 and 84 boats, depending on their size.
In July, Brigg Blog was invited down for a guided tour, viewing the marina and the interior of some of the lodges that have already been constructed. We were also shown the area of land earmarked for the restaurant/bar.
