A certain retired Brigg Town cricketer has reached 60 not out and passes on thanks to friends and family for their best wishes.
He can recall once making 60 (out) against Corringham in a Sunday game at Brigg Rec, but not an innings of 60 not out.
Others from our year group at Glebe Road School have attained the 60 milestone in recent months, including a Brigg councillor. But we were one of the youngest in a large class.

Do we know him, Nige?
.....so you're older than me, Nige.
Us guys don't disguise our age unlike wimmen folk.
A 40 year old will be 34 , while decade will be taken off someone approaching 60.
But there's a critical transition somewhere...a great granny will proudly and unreservedly announce that they're 87...and a half.
