ALDI NOW SEEKING GO-AHEAD FOR BRIGG STORE CREATING 50 JOBS

Aldi has now lodged its application seeking planning permission to build a new store in Brigg.
This is an important step in a project to bring new jobs to the town.
The intended location is off Bridge Street and the A18.
North Lincolnshire Council is being asked to grant Aldi planning permission for the demolition of existing buildings and the erection of a retail unit with car parking, landscaping and associated works.
Aldi says it its application that 50 jobs for local people will be created within the store "plus additional employment for maintenance, window cleaning, etc."
The council says it will accept comments on this application up to August 4. Email planning@northlincs.gov.uk
