NEW LOOK PLANNED FOR BRIGG TAKEAWAY PREMISES

Plans to install a new shop front in Brigg town centre have been revealed.
The premises at 45 Wrawby Street, within the Conservation Area, are occupied by the popular fast food takeaway pictured below.
North Lincolnshire Council is being asked to grant permission for the replacement shop front.
The application has been submitted, through agents, by the owner of the building.
Planners have been told that the existing "detrimental" shop front will be replaced by a more appropriate design.
The new timber shop front will incorporates traditional details such as pilasters, plinth, cornices and mullions.
There will be a larger window "to mimic the more traditional shop fronts on the town centre."

North Lincolnshire Council says it will accept any comments about this application up to October 26.
