BRIGG ANNUAL TOWN MEETING COULD HAVE DONE WITH BIGGER ATTENDANCE

Eight members of the public attended Monday night's Annual Town Meeting in the Angel Suite, arranged by Brigg Town Council.
Former councillors Tom Glossop, Jenny Bell, Julian Kidd and Jackie Brock were among them and all asked questions. Tom is a Freeman of Brigg, as many Blog followers will know.
Tony Parker, Brigg's Honorary Footpath Warden, delivered his report; Town Mayor Coun James Truepenny did likewise for Brigg Town Council; as did Coun Rob Waltham, on behalf of himself and Couns Carl & Nigel Sherwood,  our three Brigg & Wolds representatives on North Lincolnshire Council.
Further details to follow from us on what was an interesting, if not particularly well attended, get-together.
Humberside Police were not represented at the Annual Town Meeting or the meeting of Brigg Town Council which came before it.
This was a shade disappointing to Brigg Blog, but the Police and Crime Commissioner  and a very senior officer had attended in person only a month earlier to discuss local policing with Brigg Town Council.
