POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER INVITED TO BRIGG

Brigg Town Council has accepted an offer from  Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner, Keith Hunter, to attend a future meeting and will be inviting him along to the Angel Suite on a date yet to be agreed.
But it is already clear that Mr Hunter will quizzed about the force's 101 non-emergency call service.
At the Town Council's September meeting, Coun Ann Eardley expressed concerns about the time police can take to  answer  calls from concerned members of the public.
She said the current response time "is not very good."
Mr Hunter attended a meeting of Brigg Town Council in January 2017.
