The new ice cream parlour in Wrawby Street, Brigg, was doing brisk Bank Holiday Monday trade this afternoon and there were plenty of takers for the beer garden tables and chairs at Wetherspoon's White Horse pub. It was the same outside the front entrance, on Wrawby Street, where an area is set aside for drinkers to relax with a pint or two.
Warm weather and periods of sunshine worked their magic as yesterday's showers gave way to something more acceptable.
We expect plenty of people to be out and about in town centre hostelries tonight, where your custom will be welcomed.
